Holly

Christmas began for us in earnest when Holly reappeared after a year at the North Pole. Holly is our “Elf on the Shelf.” She has a habit of mostly appearing in areas where she can observe the girls fulfilling their chores. For instance, she sat on the piano one day or in the shoe basket another day. They are very motivated to “be good” while Holly is around because she reports to Santa every night. But, of course, Holly is not always perfect. On day, Holly was found in the middle of the piano candy box with several candies unwrapped. The girls were even more enamored with her for her mischief! They love to take pictures of her each day on their iPads. Plus, Ella loves to leave little notes for Holly that she answers by her position. For instance, one day Ella asked Holly what her favorite food was…her response? She was found in the brownies the following morning.
