We continue to be busy bees in the creative department. On the Kayla front, I grabbed a high school girl in our ward to start giving her “art lessons” once a week at our house. They have made some really creative pieces and Kayla has really started to look forward to Wednesdays. She LOVES Charlotte! Meanwhile, Ella has started this new hobby where she writes comics for all of her friends (not sure where she came up with that idea!). There was one day in church where I thought she was taking notes, only to discover that she had written about 20 pages of a comic book. She is also poised to complete the challenge issued to her by the missionaries to finish reading the Book of Mormon by December 31st. I think she only has about 60 pages left to read—amazing! Dessie is wowing us by writing down any word she can sound out--she's a very impressive 4-yr-old!
