On the family funny front, Kayla came home from school one day and asked, “Did you know that Easton is my BFF (best friend forever)?” Apparently, she has a new crush because a couple of weeks later she announced, “I’m thinking about kissing Easton.” We had a little talk about friendship and appropriate parameters for her to express feelings at her age. She wants me to buy her the materials to make Easton a BFF bracelet now! Kayla is really not shy about liking boys—that makes Stephen a little nervous I think. I prefer to know what she is thinking though. Ella is a lot more coy and reserved on that subject, so we are much more in the dark.
