I'd like to thank Kayla and Dessie who were my very enthusiastic jam girls for an afternoon this week. We were able to can 12 pounds of strawberries that we made into jam together to hand out to neighbors this spring and fill up our freezer to last us for the next year! They were awesome--no complaints--it must be that it doesn't feel like work to mash and mix and crush!
