Ella is such a faithful child. She has such a strong, irrepressible belief in the tooth fairy. Each time she loses a tooth, she takes the opportunity to write the tooth fairy a letter. Her letters are darling and true keepsakes...but there are some days when I have forgotten to even take the tooth and leave some money, much less write a response to the many questions my 7-year-old has about the tooth fairy business. It's enough to make me consider letting her in on the "tooth fairy secret." Then again, it really is a treasure reading her letters. This time she even left candy for the fairy elves who assist the tooth fairy. I guess in the end, the tooth fairy's secret is safe with me.
