My life changed quite a bit this year when Kayla left for kindergarten this year. Now, it is just Dessie and me at home for several hours each day. She has really grown up recently. She is drawing recognizable pictures. She has friends and regular play-dates where she asks to dress up and dance. She runs errands with me and argues with me many times a day about the nutritional value of certain substances and the need for a nap. I call her my little buddy. Her response: "I'm not your buddy; I'm a big girl!" I love you Dessie--don't grow up too fast!
