Halloween Recital

I love the Halloween piano recital. It is such a great time to choose fun, engaging music that the students enjoy playing (and even practicing)! This year was particularly exciting because Kayla has started piano. I was so proud of her first LIVE performance. She remembered to bow and even played her song memorized. She just lit up when she was applauded. It is so gratifying to see any child's confidence increase as they learn to do something hard by themselves. Truly, that is one of the reasons I love piano teaching the most!
