It is always with mixed feelings that we come to the end of another soccer season. What a great opportunity for Coach Stephen to work with his daughters and for our girls to exercise and enjoy their teammates. But, oh to have your Saturdays free from obligation again--let's just say, we enjoy the season and we enjoy the off-season. :) Ella has really blossomed on the field this year. She was given the distinction of "best offensive player" at the end of the season and she maintained high scorer on her team, the Texas Belles. Kayla is a little less aggressive (less being relative), but she worked really hard to get as many touches on the ball as she could. (Her dad rewards her with an m&m per touch.) Plus, she truly excels at team spirit and rejoices in everyone's good success on her team. We feel very lucky to have our girls associate with such sweet and wonderful girls. Can't wait until next season...or maybe we can!
