Ella fell in love with the joys of a season that for her are magical and for me preserved the magic that has seemed to be waning the last few years. I couldn't resist the mall line to get a traditional picture with Santa...maybe it's because there are years of pictures with me crying in Santa's lap, but I just loved to see both of my kids' reactions to this jolly man.
Ella's conversation with Santa went something like this.
Santa: Have you been a good little girl this year?
Ella: Nods affirmative.
Santa: What would you like for Christmas?
Ella: Presents. Lots of presents.
Santa: Any present in particular?
Ella: Red presents (said while pointing at the presents used for decoration.)

I think she needs a whole room full of those red presents! how cute! The big question here is did you wrap her presents in red?
So cute! I, too, could not resist the Santa at the mall with the girls. I love the picture of Ella pointing. She's such a cutie!!
PS - Kayla's face is priceless - the perfect first sitting on Santa's lap face :) And the look on the second Santa's (who I'm assuming is Wal-Mart Santa) face is SO funny! I'm totally laughing at it.
We love all the pictures. Looks like a fun fun holiday season!
That Walmart Santa should be fired. Wow! I just love little Ella's conversation with Santa. That is precious. Did she get lots of red presents?
Man, that Walmart Santa is pretty pathetic. But...I guess you get what you pay for! :) We havent been to sit on Santa's lap since Mackenzie was ONE!! I am terrible!
