I really enjoyed the last week of winter break. Once Christmas was over and our guests had left, I actually had a chance to relax. Each morning we did a work project together. One day we took down the Christmas décor. Another day we cleaned out the garage. The next day we cleaned out the girl’s drawers and closet. We were busy, but not overwhelmed. It left us free to do fun activities in the afternoon and invite a friend over each day (if we had earned it). The weather has been beautiful, so the kiddos have enjoyed a lot of bike riding and hula hooping. Of course, the kitchen is naturally a favorite place in our home! It will be a little hard to start school again on Monday!
