We love BYU football season...it seems to be the only time that I can convince visitors to come. But, I'll accept that. We are so glad BYU will be in Texas three times this season. Unfortunately, our game versus the Longhorns did not end in a victory, but the weekend away in Austin with my parents, siblings and grandparents really made up for that. Thank you travelers for coming to spend some time with us. If you ask Ella what the highlight was, she would respond: "When everybody surprised me at lunch and brought donuts." She was a pretty special girl that day.
As usual, my mom never visits without leaving her mark somewhere. She can go through my house and say things like: I helped paint this room. I made these curtains. I sanded this chair and painted it. I made this dust ruffle...etc., and etc. This trip, she did it again. She helped me convert my girl's twin beds into bunk beds. Now, the room doesn't feel quite so squishy. The girls love the extra room to play too. Thanks Mom--you are truly remarkable.
