2 hour truck ride to Brianhead...and then the vacation really began!
About a year ago, Stephen's parents came up with the idea of doing an adult ATV ride through the Brianhead and Bryce canyon area. It took us a while to get there, but it was worth every minute. I think Stephen's parents were really nervous about me because I hadn't been on an ATV in about 7 years...and it was probably not helped since I popped the clutch and stalled on my first try. But, I improved after that and just loved the feel of the speed. Stephen and I really enjoyed being together and spending time with his family (sans kids). At one point, as we enjoyed dinner in Bryce Canyon, Stephen turned to me and said: "I love our kids, but I am so happy right now." It was so much fun that it was even worth the return trip home (repeat above)! Note: We also learned about the comedian, Brian Regan, for the first time. Stephen went to bed giggling about some of the skits we listened to online.
