Rainy Days

Yesterday morning, I woke up to an odd sound...a sound I don't remember hearing so loudly in California. It was thunder and it was LOUD! Plus, our bedroom was alive with flashes of light as it reflected the lightning storm outside. It was a crazy morning. I guess those types of storms always seemed to come at night before and not at 7:00 am. Anyway, the storm created some irresistable puddles outside. So Ella insisted on her boots and she went to play outside with our neighbors.

Our next-door neighbors have three kids and Ella is in love with all of them. These are pictures of her with their 4-year-old, Chase.

So fun!! That puddle looks awesome and the pictures of Ella and Chase are so cute! How fun to have neighbors with lots of kids to play with! And that run outside and play?! Texas sounds fabulous! :) Ella looks so much more grown up to me! We miss you!
