FUNNY STORY:
I've been coaching Ella all week that today is Kayla's birthday. We even practiced everyone's ages in the family. She can now say, "Ella is 2. Kayla is 1. Mommy is 26. Daddy is 29." Unfortunately, I must have given the mistaken impression that Kayla's birthday celebration was going to be a BIG deal. So I shouldn't have been surprised when Ella woke up this morning and asked for grandma and grandpa! I guess most of our big occasions have included family. We wish you could all join us as Kayla gets to take apart her first cupcake. Luckily, we have a blog so you can enjoy the pictures. And thanks in advance for all of the presents!

I can't believe she is one, it seems like it wasn't very long ago when I got the email announcing she was born! She is an adorable little girl. I love that I get to see both your girls sweet little faces and see them as they grow up. That is the best thing about blogging, now that I am not sitting at a desk two feet from you in a hallway, I can still know what's going on with you!
Happy Birthday Kayla!!!
Happy Birthday to your little Kayla!
Oh my goodness her baby picture is darling! What a pretty baby..you KNOW some newborns aren't that cute....or am I the only one that thinks that?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Yay for Kayla's Birthday! Wish we could be there for the celebration! Hope you have lots of fun! I love seeing the pictures of her at different stages. She is such a cutie!
Hope she has a great birthday! I love the last picture. You can tell her smile lights up the room.
Happy Birthday Kayla! I was thinking about her today :) I honestly feel like it was just the other day that we were talking to each other in the hospital trying to figure out a way to get the princess package for all of our babies! I so wish we could've had a party for both Katie and Kayla together, that would've been so cute!! But I have put our 5 year Disneyland trip in my ical - so I hope you were serious! And I can't wait to see the pictures of her enjoying her cupcake!
happy birthday kayla! lauren, she is really cute. i love the picture at the temple.
Lauren - I found your blog! What fun to read all about your family, interests, and your recent painting project. We've been in the same project mindset, it appears.
We enjoyed having you and your girls over today. What cutie pies! It will be fun to have your family nearby and we can hang out. Great blog!
yay!
The pictures are so cute. The Pumpkin Patch looks like it was great fun. Asking about Grandma and Grandpa though, got to my heart strings!
Thanks for the pictures. Love, Mom and G'ma
