After many of my friends have so enthusiastically recommended the 'Twilight' series to me, I finally found some time to begin. Stephen was leaving for a business trip to New York, so his new competition for my attention is a complete shock. And I'm glad I found some time to really clear my schedule, because I started 'Twilight' Sunday morning and finished 'Eclipse' by 3:00 am Tuesday morning...I know nuts! Then I scoured the author's site and was relieved to see another book coming out and a retelling of Twilight from Edward's perspective coming out. It's sort of like a drug, I want to know more. I enthusiastically recommend the books to anyone. Besides the fact that I share a name with the most petty character in the book, I found the books...addicting.
Personally, I don't think the series can end until Bella is officially no longer vulnerable...and sometimes I wonder if that will ever happen. I guess that just means many more books to come (Hooray!).

yay i'm glad you read it! I have dreams about Edward :D. The author actually stated that this fourth book that is coming next year is her last in this series...tear!! :)
I LOOOVVE this series. My husband came running out of the kitchen with ketchup in his mouth trying to get attention from me - he thought he looked like a vampire. :) My prediction (hope is) is Edward will find a way to become human, that way they can grow old together and be together!

So glad you finally joined the club. My mom and her best friend were watching our girls while we were gone and April started twilight and finished it and as soon as she got home she went and bought the next two. I had to laugh cause even the grandma's love Edward.
Wow- you were reading like a mad woman!! I know they are good books, and we all read them fast, but I think you might have set a record!! Wish you were going to be at book club so we could discuss Edward and why we love him! ;)
lauren! hey there. by the way, congratulations on your move and new home! isn't wonderful? i just finished the twilight series last night and loved it too! it took me a little over one week to read them, but that is nothing compared to you. i hope the same way debbi stated on her comment, that edward can become human again. maybe that will be bella's special talent :). hope you are doing well.
I'm laughing so hard!! You cruised through those books. And I thought "I heart Edward Cullen" but I think you've won that title now.
I just keep remembering my mantra with each new book.........."Just bite her already!!!"
