October birthdays are the best! It's so easy to put together a party in October. For Kayla's party, we took our family to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch. This turned out to be a fabulous idea. Between a kid's hay bale maze, animals, trains, bounce houses, hay rides and cartoon characters (all for FREE!), our kids were fully satisfied. Stephen and I had a great time too. What a perfect way to celebrate our little one's first year of life! There were just too many cute pictures to choose one, so I attached them all.
This girl was an eager partaker of her very first cupcake. It's amazing how that doesn't need to be taught.
She loved her presents too!

What an awesome place! It looks like a lot of fun. That will be nice as Kayla gets older, to always have a fun place like that to go to for her birthday.

The pictures are great!!! So glad that you guys ventured out and enjoyed the pumpkin patch. We have been going since Mackenzie was 9 months old. It is a neat place!!! See you tomorrow, I am sure!
That looked so fun! You will have to find some more fun (free) things for us to do when we come!! I can't wait!
I cant believe how fast time goes by. She is way cute!
What a cute party for Kayla! That pumpkin patch looks adorable, and I can't even imagine how excited Ella was about Thomas! :) And I can't believe that it was free!!! We of course paid an arm and a leg for every single activity we did at the pumpkin patch out here. Texas sounds like it is awesome! And happy birthday to sweet little Kayla!!
