Our Olena Beana is so cute lately. I think she is days (possibly weeks) away from walking. She can stand and squat and go back up again. It requires crazy athletic skills to accomplish such a feat for a ten-month old. She will even hold her hands up over her head on the command of “so big.” She waves, says “da-da” (Stephen was thrilled), says “Ella,” points, kisses, laughs, stacks blocks and in general, makes messes wherever she goes. She has two drawers she empties daily and sometimes several times a day. She has a terrible habit of putting everything in her mouth. I often catch her with contraband, but she just laughs when I say “no-no.” She is darling!
