Hooray! A parent's favorite phrase: Santa's watching. I love it. I can provoke my kids into good behavior by those two simple, sweet words. I like to add a little punch to the message by singing "He knows if you've been bad or good so be good for goodness sake!"
For FHE, we kicked off our holiday season by writing our lists to Santa and then visiting the Bass Pro shop Santa village. Very fun. My favorite moment was the second that Ella saw Santa about 15 yards away, yelled his name and ran right up to him to give him her list!! She then proceeded to whisper Kayla's list to her so that she would remember what she wanted! Ella and Kayla both said that their favorite part was receiving the candy cane afterwards.

Wow Lauren! Welcome back to the blogging world. That was a great update! I really hope you get your minivan, you deserve it more than anyone I know!
And, Callin is exactly like Kayla w/ potty training. But the bad part is that boys aren't aloud to wear long dresses to cover up their body parts! He has about 7 weeks til the baby comes. I'll keep my eye on the goal!
And I love Dessie!! She is seriously SOO darling! Her resent photo shoot pictures are so sweet. Can't wait to see you all soon!
I so hope you get your mini van! You really do deserve it more than anyone I know. I sure hope it'll fit in Santa's bag for you this year!! It's on my list as well, but I think it's more likely the Easter Bunny might bring it :)
Santa at the bass pro shop looks awesome! Life in Texas looks pretty good. It doesn't look like the bay area could entice you back... could it??? :)
