Today I learned an important lesson. I have to learn to laugh at myself as a parent, or else I might just cry. So, I am going to start including Parenting Tips into my blog. And no, these tips are not coming to you from an experienced, wise mother. These are the tips of an unbalanced person just trying to get a grip on life, hopefully with a smile.
Tip #1. Never leave your child alone at the dinner table with full access to the salt and pepper.
Stay tuned for the inevitable tips to come.

oh I am so glad you are back in the blogging world. I need your new address and I'll email you mine! I LOVED your recipe book and cd that you sent me. I have already been busy making all kinds of recipes you sent. Some of my favs are the chocolate chip cookies and the honey chicken. Thank you Thank you!
Lily has emptied the salt shaker I don't even know how many times. hilarious! can't wait for more parenting tips.
Yay you're back!! We've definitely missed you! And I love the parenting tips - can't wait for more! Anna has totally dumped the salt everywhere and luckily hasn't figured out how to unscrew the pepper grinder... Ella is a smartie, that's for sure! :)
I'm not looking forward to those days at all... And, they're coming quicker than ever. I guess I'll have to work on my sense of humor or stock up on tissues. It's a good thing I have a friend like you to bestow parenting "wisdom" upon me...Can I learn parenting by osmosis? That would be nice! Can't wait for your Christmas card, they ALWAYS crack me up!
I can just taste all the salt and pepper on that dinner. Yuck! Is that such a kid thing to do. I look forward to all your fun parenting tips too. We can all learn from each other, right? It was nice to catch up a bit today. I've missed your blogs too.
Lauren, Texas is looking pretty good about now. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it so much. It's fun to see all that's going on with your family.
Glad you are back online!! And - I love that Ella is so much like my kiddos! It is good to not be alone!
Hi Lauren, Glad you found us! It was fun to look at your cute little family. This post is particularly familiar to us, this happened to us (on the carpet) over a year ago. The vacuum still smells like pepper every time it is turned on. Keep in touch!
That is tooo funny! Isn't it amazing what these little minds can think of to do. In the end, that is what makes you so wise! That, and everything else! ha!
It was good to see you guys. Thanks for the visit!
