Ella: (Happily) They went to Arizona, but they are coming to Texas today.
Lauren: (Sad) No, they won't be coming today.
Ella: (Undaunted) Oh, they will come in a little bit.
Lauren: Yes, they will come back soon. (Hoping that "soon" is interpreted loosely.)
We had so much fun with my family in town for Christmas that I think we are still struggling with normal reality. Everyday, Ella asks for Grandma and Grandpa and Eddie and Jennie and CJ and Dee-Dee and Ben when she wakes up :(
The pictures and details of our glorious Christmas will be continued in the next few posts!

that is so cool that everyone came to you! we line up on the stairs too.
that is a cute picture! The stairs are a great idea...we just might steal that sometime soon!
What a fun time that every one came to your house - probably because you posted about that warm weather and your girls in shorts putting up Chrimstmas lights:) J/k. No one ever wants to come to Iowa because we have the opposite problem.
So fun that your family came to you! I bet you guys had a blast. And I am so not looking forward to losing all of our family entertainment for the girls... Whenever I mention going home Anna always quickly corrects me, "To my grandma's house, not to my house." I think it'll be rough going home! I hope the transition isn't too hard for you guys and I can't wait to see more blogs about your Christmas! I bet it was awesome! :)

So a bunch of friends came over before Christmas and they were all dying over your card. They loved it, thanks for sending me one and I hope that you guys enjoyed looking at the reunion book. Happy New Year!
Can't wait to read more of your Christmas. I'm always sad when family leaves. Katie is too. But I am so glad you had family here - that's the best of all worlds! Hope you are doing well. We'll have to get together soon.
