Because Erica asked...

I had some people interested in how you make a pop-up card, so here are the instructions for putting one together yourself. (Click to enlarge picture.)

I think making Christmas cards is one of my favorite things about this season. And every time I pull out my favorite stamps and ink pads, I feel the smile on my face. So, I just wanted to give a shout out to my favorite Christmas ink products. These "Holiday Vintage" ink pads not only offer deep, beautiful colors, but they also smell great and seasonally appropriate! (They would make a great holiday gift for any "scrapper.")

Just click on the photo to make it larger.

And, I think my favorite card making tool, is this "paper piercer." You can find them at any craft store. They make it possible to punch holes anywhere on the paper easily. It's the tool I use most frequently.

And, to prove that I have indeed been busy painting, I'm posting pictures of the two rooms I painted. Now unveiling...

THE TOY ROOM/GUEST ROOM

ELLA'S ROOM

Cute huh!

Just so adorable! I love these colors - Ella's looks looks femininine and so fresh. You've been working hard, haven't you?

The pop-up cards still look challenging for me. I'll have to learn in person some time.

Lauren- Can you come to my house now? I just can't seem to get much done around here in the decor area. Your rooms turned out so cute!
