Kindy Program
Donald kindergarten always ends the year with a big musical program. I know this is a cliché, but where did the time go this year! I truly enjoyed watching Kayla joyfully sing all of the songs and participate in the actions. She has come a VERY long way over the course of the year. In her teacher’s report card she said, “I love my sweet, sweet Kayla. She really has come a long way—from times when I couldn’t get her to talk to hearing her sing and play with friends. I have loved every single moment this year. Your baby has made me smile and laugh. My heart has grown and my family has grown too. I am so proud of all of the accomplishments your sweetie has earned.” We echo those thoughts.
Last Day!
We have been counting down the days until summer for a month now. The girls can hardly wait to head out on vacation, and yet, they both wish they could bring their teachers with them. We will miss Mrs. Redden and Mrs. DeFelice a lot! We have been so blessed with teachers that have helped our girls grow and develop. Over the course of the year, Kayla has grown in confidence and knowledge. She was nearly shouting the lyrics at her kindergarten program! Plus, she has developed several crushes…is it Bryce, or Easton or perhaps Andrew this month? Meanwhile, Ella’s become a prolific author, creating stories and comics that she shares with her friends. She also became a model of integrity—from a period of confessions and repentance to a girl worthy of her approaching baptism date. It’s been an interesting year for her. Both girls have created a lot of beautiful artwork and inventive stories (check it out!) that capture this wonderful year. On to third and first grade respectively—we are ready!
