Happy New Year: Welcome 2012!

I love New Year's-especially when we get to enjoy it with visitors. We were lucky to have Stephen's parents visit us for the holiday weekend. The second that Stephen's dad walked in the door, he headed upstairs to change clothes and begin work on fixing our shed floor, which had shifted and cracked in the middle! Wow-That was quite a project and it looked beautiful when it was completed. We had so much fun doing so many activities: out to dinner, Frisco Square lights, BYU game (amazing victory in the final seconds of the game 24-21), dollar movie, Puss'N Boots, Firehouse, Italian sodas for cheers, and of course, our annual "banging" in of the New Year at 8:00 pm with pots and pans and musical instruments. We had such a great time. I wanted to record some of our toasts:

Keith: To a year of adventure in a foreign land
Stephanie: That I might learn Portuguese (they have been called to serve as mission presidents in a Portuguese speaking country...more to follow)
Lauren: Less whining, more sharing
Stephen: To a new shed!
Ella: To have a Better Attitude!
Kayla: To be happy!
Dessie: Meow!

We hope all of these "cheers" come true and wish ya'll a Happy 2012!
