Stephen and I have made it a priority to try to spend one-on-one time with each of our kids from time-to-time. I was given extra tickets to the Fort Worth Symphony by a friend and it seemed like the perfect mommy-daughter date with Ella. We made it extra special by going out to dinner before and by inviting her friend Cara and her mom. I knew the symphony was doing a tribute to "Paul McCartney," but I didn't realize that they would actually have vocalists. Instead of a wholly instrumental concert, as I expected, we were treated to a full rock-n-roll experience. On looking back at it, Ella told me: "The best part was getting to hear the rock-n-roll music." I think she will always have memories of this experience when she hears the song, "Here Comes the Sun."
