"Happy 4th Birthday to Kayla!" the family sings.
"You mean, Rainbow the Doggy?" responds Kayla.
"Blow out your candles and make a wish, Rainbow the Doggy" reminds the mommy.
"I want a doggy pillow pet" says Kayla (aka, Rainbow the Doggy).
Well, Kayla is still frequently pretending to be a doggy (Correction: Rainbow the Doggy) and that probably explains why she received four separate new doggies for her birthday. All her wishes came true and she had a wonderful birthday. We were also surprised with a doggie birthday cake, from my very talented friend, Corrine. I'm glad I got a picture of the cake in pristine condition the moment it arrived, because minutes later (and without permission naturally), a little doggy was tearing into it (see pictures below). For the record, she has named her new pillow pet doggie, Austin (after her boyfriend).

Happy Birthday Kayla!!! So Katie is totally obsessed with dogs too! She doesn't pretend she's one but is totally obsessed with them and will randomly throw herself on the floor and cry because I haven't gotten her a dog and she has asked for one for her birthday, Christmas, etc. etc. etc. I think these two would get along for sure! :)
