Halloween Preschool Party!

I was this week's preschool host house for our Wednesday preschool group. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so I'm glad I had the chance to put this one together. (Plus, we made it a combined birthday party for Kayla/preschool party so I could knock out two birds with one stone--always a plus there. It was nice to use all of the party supplies I bought at last year's after Halloween sale!) I think my very favorite part of the event was "present time." I asked each child to grab the present they brought and then they could hand it to Kayla. Well, my directions were only partly understood. Because every single kid, but one, grabbed their present, opened it themselves, and then handed it to Kayla. Awesome! It did have the advantage of keeping the present opening moving right along. The kids were all so cute in their costumes. Kayla insisted on being a beautiful butterfly and then spent half the morning not talking to anybody because, "Butterflies don't talk, Mommy." Well, you can tell that we all had a great time as you check out these pictures. I feel lucky that Kayla has so many friends her age!
