I love teaching piano; but, I think my favorite part is recital time. My friend (also a piano teacher) and I put on a Halloween recital this year at the nursing home. The kids dressed up in costume and performed their "spooky" songs. It was so great! And it is even better to me now because I am a parent of a student too--check out Ella's performance. She did great!
PS--If you didn't pick up on what my costume was...the answer is: pink eye.
