We started Ella up in a soccer league for the first time this spring. I have to say there is something very comical about four-year-olds playing soccer. They sort of follow the ball in a herd and it takes most kids half the field to turn the ball the other direction. At some point during the game, Ella is inevitably caught talking to her friends in the field instead of paying attention to the game. But, her Daddy is assistant coach and he has high hopes for her. Go Texas Belles! (Much to our chagrin, the Belles have a record of 0-7. However, Ella has scored several goals throughout the season and seems to believe that means her team won!)
