I think the phrase most parents come to both love and hate is: I can do it all by myself. Take for instance, my Kayla Grace who now LOVES to say: I can do it all by myself. Exhibit A (above): She has finally turned the corner and is officially potty-trained and wearing underwear all the time (we did do a month of naked-training!). Exhibit B (below): She now has an opinion about her clothing choices and likes to put them on ALL BY HERSELF!

I love the independent dressing stage mostly because I think other parents will understand when they see my child dressed pretty ridiculously all the time. We have to choose our battles right and frankly I am thrilled to see my child doing one more thing with out my help. I think you look wonderful Kayla! I miss those girls.
