Thomas Visits Texas!

After over a month of successful "potty-using," we decided to reward Ella with a special Mommy-Daughter date to see Thomas, who just happened to be visiting in our neck of the woods. Ella had such a fun time at each and every "station," that it was hard for me to tear her away to move on to the next station. From her mouth: "I am having so much fun."

Elder Ballard said today that the joy of motherhood could be captured in moments. I'm glad I got to share this moment with Ella. Plus, I have a ton of cute pictures to remember it by!

Super, super cute!! I loved that talk to. Speaking of Thomas...did you happen to realize that our last prophet was Gordon and our new prophet is Thomas?? We have at our house!!! I hope my boys won't forever think "trains" when they think of prophets! Also, we went to the Thomas Day last year in UT and it was great! We might catch it again this year, but we'll see!

So fun! I love mom and son dates too. It looks like you and Ella had a great visiting Thomas. Landon hasn't really gotten into Thomas so we have never gone, but it sounds like a fun day.

How fun! Thomas visits Iowa each year and I have always been so worried that Gage would freak out over the big characters that I have been saving it till he is older to do it. (another mom here took her boy who was so scared the whole time - she gave me warning) Ella looks like she had a GREAT time, I'll have to look into where Thomas is next year when we are settled into one place.

I just love Ella's Thomas shirt. It's so fun to see a girl fan of Thomas. Katie and I went to Thomas Day Out years ago and she was one of very few girls there that day. I asked Daniel if he wanted to go this year and he wasn't interested. I was disappointed. Sounds like such a fun day for you both. Ella's getting so big! Her ponytails are too cute.

What fun for the two of you! I love how kids just eat up any alone time with either parent. It's the greatest!
