Hopefully the pictures narrate this story pretty well. But, if not, the moral of this story is: "Don't get caught talking on the phone for so long that the kids start looking for things to do and they decide to try the refrigerator, because well, why not, and they find the bag of chocolate chips and decide to share it underneath the kitchen table." I think the fact that I got the picture of their chocolate-stained faces just underneath the "choose the right" sign is entirely appropriate.
My baby's been corrupted by my toddler's sweet tooth!!
Maybe another grain of important truth I took from all of this is that cordless phones are the way to go.

Yes, cordless is definitely the way to go. I still have a hard time paying attention to the ways of my children while on my cell. I usually have Tate is the bath tub and Katelyn coloring the walls. They just know that when mommy is on the phone all heck brakes loose. Cute picture of them together with chocolate..that is a keeper!
Im with ya
This post made me laugh and think, that is so Ella! That girl can get into the sweets faster than any other little kid I know. Kayla is lucky to have such a pro to teach her the ways. ;) ha ha!
So funny and so like my own life!
Ha ha! I love it. I love your sneaky little Ella :) She is so funny! The chocolate grins under the choose the right sign is my favorite, oh my goodness you guys are too much fun :)
OH how funny! I love that you took a picture, just two days ago I was on the phone and I thought Gage had gone potty and was was I thougt he was washing his hands, I walked upstairs 20 minutes later to see him playing with water, green food coloring (we put it in their bath sometimes) and a watering pot all over the bathroom! I couldn't get myself to take a picture! The choose the right picture in the background was the best!
This is so something my girls would do, but with jelly beans or something since Lily won't touch chocolate. Stella on the other hand would have it all over her face as well!
Thit is sooo my life! My little guy loves to do this kind of stuff. Check out my site to win some great stuff!

Wonderful lessons! You need to get a sign that says "Choose the Chocolate" :) The pictures are priceless! Ella is an absolute CABBAGE PATCH! Mischievous, but CUTE!!!
Too funny. Yum - cold chocolate chips. It's fun to see how the older kids do influence the younger ones. So, do you use a corded phone, Lauren? That definitely would make it harder to chat with little ones getting into mischief. Such darling, chocolate-y girls!
