Happy Valentine's Day!

This day is a perfect "girly" day for all of the girls in this family. Ella could eat sweets to her heart's content (I waved my white flag for the holiday!), Kayla got to be part of our Valentine playdate and received her very own pink sugar cookie, and Stephen gave me the gift of a babysitter. What a great day!

We also continued one of my favorite family traditions. Did you know that Cupid visited the Rebers yesterday?? My parents always had Cupid make a surprise visit to our family. He would leave little treats and sweets on the front porch and doorbell ditch. Pretty fun. Ella was thrilled with the "red" presents to unwrap. I thought it was a fun way to "dress" up Valentine's day for kids too little to have all of the fun school parties.

So cute! Christian's family also had visits from cupid doorbell ditching, and he also comes to our house just right before dad comes home from work :) I think it's such a cute tradition. I love the girl's valentine outfits and I think I recognize that adorable pink blanket... I'm glad you guys had such a great Valentine's day!

What a cute idea. Maybe Cupid will have to visit the Rasmussen's next year. Oh and that picture of Ella caught with the sucker is priceless. Her and her faces!!

Thats a fun tradition! You can do that with Halloween too. We could leave all or most of our candy in a basket on the door step and The Great Pumpkin would come take it and exchange it for gifts! The Easter Bunny visited every year as well.

Great Pictures!! I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only mom who throws nutrition out the window on Valentine's! Still not sure about this summer - Ben has offers from Johnson & Johnson in Philly or SC Johnson in Wisconsin. These are great offers, but Ben's not too excited about the possibility of working with Tampex!! We're still waiting from 3 other companies. HP is one of them and there are positions available in TX. We'll see!! Love the Blog!! Keep up the hilarious entries!

Cupid...what a great idea. We might just have to do that next year. How nice of Stephen to get you a babysitter. Now that's thinking ahead!

Darling pictures. I love the backdrop and the arrangement. Did you use Photoshop? It's adorable. Glad to hear you had a great Valentines day. KT came home from school with a fever and we've all been hibernating at home since. All of us, but Ben have felt yucky, but things are looking up. Most of us are doing better. Hope to see you soon!
