I turned thirty-two years old on Labor Day weekend. The advantage of sharing a holiday with your birthday is that people are available to join in the celebration and /or help you with a big work project. Since I am still in baby mode, we did not have any major projects on the agenda this year for which Stephen was very grateful. He came home from work on Friday with a box of Sees chocolates in his hand and a cake in the other. Plus to make the “birthday week” extra special, he called a few of our close friends and had them meet us at a diner joint for dinner on Labor Day. It was very fun and sweet! However, it still doesn't quite take the sting out of turning 32. Yikes!
