Our community hosts an annual 5K and kid's K race in honor of a town employee that lost her life to MS. The race is a lovely tribute and a really fun family event. We signed all three of our girls up for the Kid's K this year. Ella, our more competitive child, came in minutes before Kayla, Dessie and I finally made it through the finish line. But, you should have seen all three of their faces when they received an official medal at the finish line! Too cute! Dessie was mostly just happy to have her own "swag" too--aren't those T-shirts so cute. Kayla was thrilled that there was a bounce house to play in after the race and Ella loved the slushies and the ice-cream!
