Happy Earth Day!

The girls and I enjoyed a "mommy and me" play date by giving back to the community in honor of Earth Day. We live in a great community. I discovered that when I contacted our local town beautification committee and they provided us with grabbers, trash bags, animal crackers and waters for our preschool group to go pick up trash around one of our neighborhood parks. Pretty amazing. Plus, as we walked, we learned this song... If you see a piece of litter, pick it up! If you see a piece of litter, pick it up! We can make the world much better, if we pick up all the litter, If you see a piece of litter, pick it up! So now when my kids see litter, they start to sing and then they do something about it! Lesson learned.
