My kids just discovered how to exploit their grandmother. I would be really upset, if I didn't do the same thing. My mom is a VERY TALENTED seamstress. She is so talented, that I never bother trying to fix any of my mending or simple stitching problems. I know that she is soooo much better and faster than I am that I may as well just wait for her to visit. I set aside anything requiring a needle and thread, and meet my mom with a basket full of sewing projects to do. She is amazing and she never complains about helping me. Of course, this trip she became even busier when my kids realized that she could create clothes for their dolls---and the requests kept coming! Before I knew it, both of my girls had two new outfits for their dolls. And all it took was one trip to the thrift store, one pair of old jeans and two scrap quarters of fabric. In the matter of an afternoon, their doll closets were tripled. Wow! Thanks Grandma! The girls love having their own personal fashion designer and just like me, they can't wait for you to come back!

So fun to have grandmas visit! Love the doll clothes. My Barbie's had fitted lined party dresses thanks to an aunt that is an amazing seamstress. I'm also blessed to have a mother and MIL and that talented in that department too! I can do a few things, but not like they can.
