I'm realizing how important tradition is to my children. After I woke up on April 1st, Ella was immediately thinking of ways we could "trick" Daddy and reminding me about the blue oatmeal last year. So, I pulled out the food coloring--as I am sure I will do every year from now on. Kayla now tells me daily: "Please don't make my oatmeal blue."
