And, in other family news, Kayla has made a big leap in her vocabulary as of Sunday, April 12th. She can now say the scariest toddler word in the English vernacular--"NO," with a lot of heavy emphasis. Now, you may wonder how a 2 and a half year old toddler has not already picked up this ability. But, for the last year plus, Kayla has always used the words "uh-uh" (no) and "uh-huh" (yes) to voice her dissent and assent. I guess she just woke up one morning and decided that she needed to voice her opinion a little more loudly.
And to those who have been sending me subtle email reminders, the promised Easter pictures will be posted soon!!

I love how her mouth opens and closes along with the eyebrows!
oh Lauren! That is too funny. I'm glad you got that on tape.
ha ha. That is too funny. (ha- I just noticed that was Cherin's exact words!). Are you sure Stephen didn't teach her that. ha
That is so cute. Love the mouth moving with the eyebrows!
I sure hope that Kayla didn't learn "No" from my boys...or was it just coincidence that we had you guys over on that same day?
Raw talent!!
Oh my goodness, that is too cute! She's got some skills :) And good job for asserting yourself, Kayla! I am sure her saying NO that way is adorable... especially if you're not her mom :)
That video seriously made my day. I think you should put it on YouTube. I watched it probably 10 times in a row.
