Stephen & The Tree
Stephen joined the scouts for a campout in the Yosemite area. They had a great time. There was only one small incident. While on the rope swing attempting to do a back flip into the water, Stephen decided he needed more time to adjust on the swing. So he was taking the swing back to land when he ran smack dab into a tree. The scouts tell me he was lucky not to drop onto some sharp rocks. We feel pretty lucky too.

He called me on his way home to claim he was fine. When I saw his injury, I asked him how the tree fared in the accident.

OUCH...for the tree...just kidding! that looks painful!
That is way worse than the simple scratch the Stephen was claiming he had. Owie!! I hope it has all healed up by now.
oh that looks like it hurts! ryan did that same exact thing one time only once he hit the tree he let go of the rope and landed on someones kid. it was not good.
Ow!! I guess it wouldn't really be scout camp without coming home with at least one injury! I'm glad it wasn't worse and hope it heals soon!
Oh no. That looks painful. I'm glad it wasn't worse! BTW- we're still waiting to hear some exciting news....fill us in on your weekend sometime.
I'm sorry, but we just busted up laughing! I can imagine the whole thing. Poor guy! Let us know about the house- which one, etc. when you have updates.
Looks like a pretty hard hit!! Hydrogen Peroxide works well to clean up scratches. So when are we going to hear about the exciting decision you've been making. Don't leave us in the dark (Mom doesn't always tell us everything)! ha ha
That's my boy! Always keeping things exciting. It's always fun when Stephen around! Seriously, That looked awfully painful. So glad it was not worse.
