SF OR BUST!

My friend and I decided to take advantage of San Francisco's "Free First Wednesday of the Month" policy and visit the exploratorium. Little did we know that our directions would invite us to take a left where it is impossible to take a left and lead us onto and over the Golden Gate Bridge with no place to turn around and a toll to pay. Those Californian politicians sure are sneaky at getting money from the cheapy "free-day" visitors. Luckily, it turned out to be a great detour and worth every penny. We were able to get some great shots of the bridge and SF on this uncharacteristically bright and sunny (not foggy) SF day. And luckily when we went back over the bridge, the right turn into the Exploratorium was not blocked off and we made it safely.

We FINALLY made it to the exploratorium--it's gorgeous here isn't it!

These are pictures of Ella enjoying the wonderful exhibits at the Exploratorium. It was great. They have hundreds of little stations designed to teach kids lessons about science. They had everything! And while it was WAY over Ella's head, she enjoyed pulling buttons and turning knobs. Plus we had a great picnic outside the museum where we enjoyed our lunch and Ella and Anna enjoyed yelling at the pigeons to "Go away!" I don't know where they get this stuff!
