Invitation to Act!

For this year's Stake Relief Society Project, we were invited to choose an individual project that would promote our happiness and fall under one of the the Relief Society purposes in increasing faith and personal righteousness, strengthening home and family, or serving the Lord and His children. I felt very strongly that I needed to commit to a daily scripture study plan in order to finish the Book of Mormon by our celebration date. I did it! And I am so happy I did. I had a very testimony building experience that reaffirmed my faith and strengthened my resolve to be a better person. Plus, I have been astounded at how much more readily I am prompted by the spirit and given answers to my problems through scriptural stories and insights. And it was on my bucket list of things to do before I hit the big 3-0 this year! Hooray!
