Stephen's work organized a gathering at the baseball park to enjoy bbq, a Rough Riders game and fireworks. We are lucky that Stephen works with a lot of wonderful people and the girls quickly found friends. The truth is that I don't think my girls watched the ball game at all...I think they were mostly enjoying the free food and trips to get more soda and chips. But Stephen enjoyed a spectacular pitching performance (or so he tells me!). The highlight for all was definitely the fireworks. I was impressed. Ella and Kayla were thrilled. Dessie was scared silly and turned her face into my body the entire time.
