Ella has a new level of respect for her dad after watching him play ball in a tournament our ward team was involved in this past Saturday. He did us proud and she was so impressed, she joined the other people on the sidelines yelling, "Go Stephen!" It was adorable. It was all I could do to keep her from running onto the court to join him.

We also enjoyed a Giants game as a family. Stephen scored free tickets through his work and the Johnsons joined us. I love baseball for the environment--the cheering, the fans, and especially the garlic fries sold at the SBC stadium. Unfortunately, it wasn't the most suiting activity for poor Kayla who is very sensitive to noise...needless to say, I ended up trying to find a quieter spot (in the bathroom) and we had finally decided to leave early. I stayed until the seventh inning "Take Me out to the Ballgame," but just one inning short of seeing a Barry Bonds home run right over our seats in right field.

Did Ella want to run out onto the court when she saw her dad? My Ella tries to do that when we're out playing soccer...we take turns on the sideline with her (it's a co-ed) team and she just HAD to be out there when Bret was out there. There's always something HOT about a dad being a dad! :)
I think that is so cute that Ella was cheering- Go Stephen! That is so funny!
And I don't know why we didn't end up in the same bathroom at the Giants Game. It might have been a little more enjoyable for us if we had!
It is so fun to take the kids places, but sometimes it is so hard! Like having to hang out in a stinky public bathroom with your sweet little baby. At least they were free tickets ;) And I also love that Ella was cheering, "Go Stephen!" It's so funny when they figure out that their parents have names too!
sounds like a fun weekend!
we just went to see the salt lake bees play baseball. Fun, but not as cool as watching the Giants.
I just love all the pictures and stories. My favorite was when Ella was cheering as her Daddy was playing basketball. That had to be the cutest! Lauren, you're doing a great job. Love, Mom (Reber)
