Ella was assigned a state report on anything related to Texas. She chose the state bird, the northern mockingbird. Then she was asked to think of a creative way to teach about what she learned. Since a mockingbird loves to mimic and sing, she decided to write an original piano composition that sounded like a mockingbird. We recorded her project. It's pretty awesome! NOTE TO MY SIBLINGS...No, I did NOT do Ella's project. Yes, she wrote and typed out every word herself. It was cute to watch her type letter by letter. I merely provided the same editorial check that I do for all of you.
