I realize the above picture is probably not my best, but it captures the Reber family trying to follow a favorite Lewis tradition. On New Year's Eve, we always pulled out all of our loud instruments and pots and pans and then (at 8:00) make as much noise as possible while visiting all of our neighbors and friends and stomping right through their houses (usually uninvited). One year, a family silly-stringed us right back out the door! Anyway, we kept the "noise" aspect of this tradition and skyped with the family to celebrate the new year! Lots of fun! The girls thought this was a highlight, along with our trip to the skating rink to try our their new Christmas skates. We had a great family new year's celebration together.
