Kayla the Doggie

Clearly, this is a girl who is not afraid of getting a little dirty. Probably because she is not really a girl (apparently).

Lately, whenever I call Kayla's name, she responds: "You mean Doggy?"

One day, I asked Kayla to say the prayer and she replied: "You mean Doggy?"
I said: "Yes Doggy, will you please say the prayer."
She began, "Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff."

Another day, I asked her to grab Dessie's sippy cup for me and next thing I knew, she grabbed the handle in her mouth and brought it to me on all fours. And I think it is becoming a bit of a trend in our house. Instead of a houseful of girly girls, I am raising doggies.

Kayla has even started getting more specific. One day, I called her name. She responded: "You mean Baby Talking Doggy?"

Hahaha! Katie does the same thing! She loves to pretend she's a dog and eats her food, drinks, and will only bark and won't use words. I think Katie and Kayla would have a fabulous time together :)

PS - have you ever bought Kayla Scooby Snacks? They're graham crackers shaped like doggie bones. Katie LOVES them. I bet Kayla would too :)
