A Brown Christmas

Christmas continued in Arizona where I'm happy to say while my TX friends were dealing with 20 degree weather, we were soaking in the rays at 60-70 degrees. The kids spent the better part of each day outside playing--LOVING THAT!! Plus, we were surrounded by friends and family who came to attend Ben's wedding...at one time there were 21 people staying at the house with many more in hotels nearby...what a great occasion!

What I loved most about this trip was how easily we all fell into our normal patterns. It's been quite a while since all of my siblings have been together (minus CJ, whose on the mission) and I'm happy to say that it didn't take too long before Diana had her mouth taped up (see above photo)...she accused me on numerous occasions of being way too stressed out and assured me that she would never be as stressed out as a mom. I wanted to write that down as ammunition for later in life. In CJ's absence, we were sure to scream at the top of our lungs "It's Christmas" and to take many pictures of ourselves piled together in a circle.

As you can tell, smiles all around for this awesome trip!
