Kayla turned three and we celebrated with a hopping Halloween bash. All of her cute friends showed up in costume and enjoyed the "eyeball" (plastic egg) hunt, monster pinata smash, and Charlie Brown's Halloween special while eating monster food. No wonder October is one of our favorite months!! We were able to enjoy all of our favorite things: pinatas, egg hunts, dress-up, candy, parties, cake, ice-cream, movies, and "ghost, ghost, monster" (variation of duck, duck, goose).
Happy Birthday to a very beautiful, special girl! We love Kayla!

Happy Birthday Kayla! It could not have been 3 years ago that we were lugging these little baby girls around in their car seats. No way. I am so sad we can't drag them around together anymore. Kayla is adorable and you are a genius to combine the Halloween festivities with her birthday party. Genius. It almost did me in hanging up all the birthday party decorations and then taking them down to put up all of the Halloween decorations 2 days later. We might just have to do that next year... And I can dream of a day when we can do a joint birthday party and really make it fun and easy for ourselves! Wouldn't that be great?
We sure miss you guys. How are you doing with three crazy kids? Hanging in there? Still traveling like a mad woman? :) Swing by here on one of your trips, kay? :)
