I think a girl's first pigtails should be a day to celebrate--it really is a marker of growth and maturity, don't you think? And you can probably tell from Kayla's face that she thought it was worth the celebration too. My little babies are growing up!

Dotty waffles on the pigtails, sometimes she loves them and other times she won't even let me touch her head let alone brush her hair and put in an elastic.

What a mile stone! I am bummed I have to wait a whole week to come and visit. I was convinced to the point of cleaning/laundry/packing already that I was leaving THIS Thursday for Dallas. One more week!
