There is something about age 3--it is a very magical age, isn't it--the world is very firmly either good or evil. This is very apparent during story time with Ella. I think story time may be Ella's favorite time of the day because Daddy likes to invent very crazy, sometimes scary (I wonder if too scary) stories for her. She has also shown a talent for invention herself and last night she took the opportunity to tell her own story. So here you go, a peek at a future authoress:
"Once upon a time there was a girl named Macy, and she was very beautiful. And she woke up one morning and she looked out the window and it was a beauuuuutiful day and she said, "I want to go play outside." And she went over to her friend's house and her name was Ella. And she knocked on the door and she said, "Miss Lauren, can Ella play?" And Miss Lauren said, "Sure." So Ella and Macy got on their bikes and rode into the forest. And when they got in the forest, they heard a sound and it went "Rrrrrr." And they heard it again, "Rrrrrr." And again, "Rrrrrr." And again, "Rrrrrrr." And it was a BEAR! It had big eyes, big teeth, a big nose, and big feet. And the bear said, "I'm going to eat you." And Ella and Macy ran away, really fast. (Ella gets out of the bed at this point and demonstrates this portion of the story by running around the room saying, "They were running really fast, running, running, running"...for approximately 30 seconds.) And then they got away from the bear and they said, "How will we get home?" and Ella said, "We will follow the North Star." And so they followed the North Star to get home and they lived happily ever after. The End.
You have to just love that. Speaking of interesting stories, I just finished "Breaking Dawn" and am now ready to discuss with anyone willing!!

Wow Lauren! Ella is so clever! I love that they followed the north star. That is such a cute story!
oh that is great. I'm sure actually hearing it is even better. I'd love to hear Stephens stories too! Maybe in October eh?

I wanna talk?!!! Absolutely LOVED the book. I was so totally shocked with the whole gist of the story but entirely pleased with the way it ended....except that I'm very sad that it has ended. Aaah!! i just want to be with Edward!! Oh wait, I guess Rob is my Edward! Did you like it?
Ella is such a cutie, reminds me of another little imaginative girl that I know ;) I'm sad that Ella's growing up so much without us!
Also, I just called you because I just finished Breaking Dawn and so want to talk to you about it. I was not thrilled about where the story was going, but ended up being really happy with how everything worked out. Hopefully we can chat soon about it! :)
Very cute story. That storytelling talent must run in the family. Hope you are doing great! We're finally back in town after vacationing for almost a month.
Stephanie Meyer and JK Rowling better enjoy their success while they can! That little girl has the gift! :)
I love it! I also love the running demonstration.
visual is always good along with the imagination!
